One Year FAME membership (from January 2008 to January 2009) $25.00
(NOTE: FAME membership is required for using display venues and web page and web link listings.)This application for FAME membership is open to anyone with an interest in supporting the mission of the organization. Members need not be visual artists themselves. Membership is granted upon the receipt of this membership application and payment of FAME annual dues.
FAME members may participate in all FAME meetings, and in all FAME-sponsored events and shows, provided they have met the entry requirements and deadlines (including payment of any applicable entry fees) for these shows and events. Each regular member shall have one vote in matters to be decided by the membership and in the election of officers. A member may cast his or her vote in writing, if unable to attend the meeting in which the vote is to be held. To be valid, a written vote must be conveyed to the President via mail or other means prior to the meeting in which the matter is to be voted upon.
A FAME member may resign from the organization by filing a written resignation with the President or Secretary, or by choosing not to pay renewal dues. An individual's membership in the organization may be terminated by a vote of the membership. A two-thirds majority of those present at the meeting where the vote takes place and those voting in writing as described above shall be required to terminate an individual's membership.
