WAC is interested in presenting the artwork of the named artist through our Display Program under the following terms:
- Insurance on the artwork, if desired, is the responsibility of the artist.
- The artist is responsible for delivery of the artwork to the display venue and installation of the work on the installation date and removal on the removal date, on the schedule specified by the Display Program Coordinator. The artist will receive email or postcard notification of the schedule for each display opportunity. If work is not installed as scheduled, the artist may be replaced in the display schedule so that the display venue has a continuous display. If work is not removed as scheduled, a display program volunteer may remove and store the work so that the next artist may hang.
- The artist may choose whether to offer the work for sale. Neither the display venues nor WAC arranges sales. Artists may place business cards, brochures or other contact information in the display venue for prospective buyers. FAME may arrange a location in each venue where such information may be placed.
- FAME and the display venues reserve the right to refuse to display work that is markedly different from that reflected in submitted slides or photos, or which is deemed inappropriate for public display venues.
- Follow the installation instructions included for your display venue. If you do not know how to use a particular hanging system, or have any questions about how to hang your work, contact the Display Program Coordinator for assistance.
This agreement shall continue for 5 years but may be discontinued by either party at any time when the artist is not on the display program schedule, by a letter indicating a wish to discontinue this agreement.
